aaaaaand cancelled. no season 2. apparently there was some back and forth for the last 2 years about it, the director says s2 is written 100% and hes thinking about a kickstarter to fund it but yeah i wouldnt count on it.

No. I haven't. Really it is a labor of love and isn't difficult at all.

i dipped a toe in altered carbon and ngl i thought it was some of the finest, most well articulated violence and technology ive ever seen and then within maybe 20 minutes i started noticing something like an entirely different show being grafted into the plot, filled with shitty trope after shitty trope, so i was like ok what am i getting into and lo and behold, it got cancelled after 2 seasons for being essentially unwatchable. which is pretty intense considering netflix gave it a 7m per ep budget.
Altered Carbon Season 1 was good. Seasons 2 was definitely a casualty of progressivism. They went way too hard with promoting progressive ideology, and the product suffered tremendously.

Meh. Tribes of Europa was ok. Nothing special. We went on a mini German series binge that included this one, and IMO this was the weakest series. I would rate them as follows.

    1. Dark
    2. Babylon Berlin
    3. Barbarians
    4. Tribes of Europa

If you're missing scifi stuff to watch, Snow Piercer is a solid 7/10. Premise is whatever, movie was weak, but it's based on a decent French comic.

For other stuff, Black Sails was actually good. Maybe needs an episode or two to get going, but i think i liked it straight from the start. Say 9/10. There was more fast forwarding as the show progressed. But i think most people found at least 5 characters they liked in that show. For me that would be the mixed-breed whore whose name i can't remember, Anne, Rackham, Vane and Blackbeard. I'd put that show close to The Wire, i fast forwarded that show a lot and if anyone asks there was only 4 seasons.

I think GoT and Star Wars influence popped up more for me.

Kid needs to take an important mechanical thingie to someone with the help of a lovable rogue and for GoT there's the something evil is coming from yonder, everyone needs to unite because, someone never lies and likely few things i missed or forgot.

Not so much no one should use those tropes, just that they are from quite popular current franchises.

Oh and the bow girl reminds some movie series with that one girl that thanked Weinstein in the Oscars that i haven't seen in a while.
