Swapping would be the easiest way I guess, but they won't let you swap it on Kraken. I think I'm done messing with it until Ripple goes to $3 and it's worth the headache

i could have sworn one of those 3 allowed US sales... how fucking absurd this is getting, honestly. obvious follow up question is obvious; can you swap them someplace for something ubiquitous like eth or btc? i was poking around my metamask wallet and was surprised to see it supports swaps.

Ugh, I set up a Kraken account. Had to give them my name, address, social security, take a pic of my ID, take a selfie, the whole shabang. Then I transfered my XRP to Kraken. And then I find out I can't sell or trade XRP on Kraken in the US.

I just don't think it's possible to sell XRP in the US.

I'll go do that, I actually didn't realize you could sell at Kraken. I just didn't want to create another account. I have Coinbase, FTX, and Binance and I can't sell on any of those.

If anybody is interested in buying ~$500 worth of ripple, I'll sell at 5% under the going market rate. Must send first, unless I know you. I'll accept USD (zelle or paypal or whatever), USDC/TUSD, or $cake as payment methods. Thank you.

I really want to unload this stupid thing

Somewhat related: I've been yielding cake in pancakeswap syrup pools.

Heads up, PancakeSwap is changing the way their lottery system works, and when it restarts they're going to inject 100k $cake into the first lotto pool. This is equivalent to $4.3 million, and should be very +EV. Previously the odds of winning the lotto were 1 in 38,416, but the entry fee was 1 cake ($43). Going forward the entry fee will be the equivalent of 1 USD in $cake.

You may want to gamble on a grip of tickets when they inject ~$4.3 million into it.

We’re proposing to suspend the lottery until the next version is ready (2-3 weeks).

Why? The price of 1 ticket is now way too high. In the next version, 1 ticket will be pegged to $1, and you'll also be able to pick your own numbers etc.

In addition, we are also proposing to cut the 20,000 CAKE injection that occurs every 2 days, down to 10,000 CAKE.

What happens to the other 10,000 CAKE? It will be yeeted into the burn pile each Monday with the rest of it.

If this proposal is passed, the 10,000 CAKE injection that will occur every 2 days until the next version is ready will be put aside and injected into the first round of the updated lottery as a mega pot (probably 100k CAKE or so).
