Brothers the first major issue happened when our entity in the UAE got audited. Brother there are many benefits to setting up a business in the UAE, however they have very strict audits. Basically they requested every single invoice for the last year of business, which was a challenge as we send and receive hundreds to thousands of invoices every month. They have guidelines you would not see in the US such as invoices must be stamped/signed and there are further complications involved with sending and receiving money from other UAE entities, which are some of our biggest business partners.
Brothers this was time consuming and stressful to deal with, you pay a full accounting team a fortune every year and when something goes wrong who does it fall on? Here’s a hint pal, not the accountant
Brothers as soon as I resolved this I received notice that we were buying sued for $122,000 by a scumbag attorney in California over what he claims to be “SPAM” emails. Brothers I don’t know anything about SPAM emails but I do know how this process goes. Basically they want to negotiate a settlement for each email received and it’s a lot easier than going to court.
Brothers I am wrapping up my sauna now but do not be discouraged, these challengers are a minor bump in the road on the journey to the top
