  • november tv thread [ im not even going to bother with an october one ]

i mean honestly once HoD finale aires the party is basically over for a long, long time.

yellowstone coming in hot on nov 13. worth watching for jimmy's cormac adventures if nothing else.

andor started last month, i'll binge that shit probably. season finale will be around end of november. btw i hear its a bit of a shitshow in terms of numbers which only makes me more interested tbh.

honestly i dont know of anything else interesting coming down the pipes. speaking of which... sandman, westworld, industry, none of them are renewed or cancelled.

Still haven't finished sandman but on the final episode. It's not terrible.

its really not. there are things to complain about but i think its ambition more than makes up for it.

It was ok. After RoP i was reminded that you can really fuck up an adaption harder than I could ever imagine. The bonus EP was my favorite and after EP 5. I can just pretend that most of EP 6-9 didn't exist.

i agree a thousand percent across the board. there were a lot of eps where i was just like, holding my nose and enjoying the view, but i never felt like 'oh this is a dumb project' and the view was pretty great. the general consensus appears to be; this might be a show where they really hit their stride in season 2 and im very much of that belief as well. and even if they dont, its absolute worst moments are going to be better than the absolute high points of RoP.

So going to post this here cause somehow I was not aware of this comedy show and its great and already been cancelled. but hell there are 4 seasons for me to watch. Was talking to a coworker about who is America and they mentioned it made them think of this. If you liked sacha baron cohen, deadpan comedy, and kramerica industries you can't go wrong. First three episodes are gold Jerry.

Recommend everyone to at least watch the first episode of the rehearsal. It's a step up from Nathan for you (for discomfort) but it will fuck with your head for sure in a good way. Don;t want to spoil anything but trust me its worth it and best to go in blind.

I will say my one concern is that the show may be more fake than it seems. Episode 1 seemed mostly genuine but the second episode seemed a lot more staged and had me question just how much is actually real and spontaneous. Haven;t watched episode 3 yet but regardless episode 1 is genius.

They are really pumping out content for the John Wick universe. JW4, The Continental, and Ballerina all slated for 2023 or TBD.

Started watching The Bastard Son &The Devil Himself on NF. It's ok. It's entertaining if not a little convoluted.
