    still seething.

its funny how like... when i storyboard 3 body problem in my head, little things dont make sense but the plot is so dope that i dont care, it all gets a pass.

and when i storyboard the final season of sandman in my head, nothing at all makes sense and the plot itself is dogshit and i get lightheaded from anger.

like thats what bad writing looks like, thats literally the naked face of bad writing.

ok well. just watched the death episode. it would be very... _very_ weird if they basically churned out a season of death stories while cancelling what was clearly an intended middle season of dream stories.

foundation has a lot of filler for a show thats like 40 minutes after credits and commercials. but i like the bones of it. overall it feels well paced. but it has some very strange plot holes.... like day recognizes the betrayal of the guard because the guard flashes his headlights. ok fine but who is he flashing them to? theres no one else there. no one saves him, day rides on totally unmollested. lee pace is such a fucking good actor that its almost lost in the shuffle but honestly how did that get past a script read...

also have we talked about how the current showrunner has "moved on" after getting assfucked on budget and such and that they have hired the showrunner from.. i swear to god this is true... fear the walking dead?

like when i heard 'new showrunner' and 'pared down budget' for half a second i was like ok wait, maybe they are moving past spesh effects and focusing on a more character driven product.. like shades of Andor maybe.. but no its Ian Goldberg ... who is a profoundly useless cunt who has never ever, *ever* worked with a single good actor.

also i didnt even notice but euron greyjoy is now the mule. which is kinda weird.

          ok anyway.

after a bit of digestion, i think this was one of my favorite episodes. setting aside gaal's love life, everything felt pretty meaningful. like when i step back and look at where all the characters are at on the chessboard, theres just so much to work with. like if this was a season finale episode id be like 'wow they kinda stuck the landing there'.

Haven't watched TV all that much. I kinda forgot the last Sandman episode was coming. It ended up being the worst episode of season.

I'm 1-2 episodes behind on Foundation. Lee Pace is still the best thing in the show. Pushing Daisies is one of my all time favorite shows. Like most things Bryan Fuller did it got cancelled. Fuller was also the showrunner in the 1st season of American Gods.

For Lee Pace shows, I never watched Halt and Catch Fire for more than few episodes. The streaming service that holds the license in my region is dropping it off their catalogue in 2 days, so I guess I'll have it running in the background for the next 20+ hours.

dude halt and catch fire is a fucking _treasure_. its just fucking great, enjoy. ill check out pushing daisies as well, had no idea it was a fuller joint. a lot of the talent that left american gods after the first season did so because fuller was no longer attached, which says quite a bit.
