good show. the effects were solid. a few plot gaps left me a bit irritated but ignoring them wasnt really painful. glad and a bit surprised we are getting a second season.Comment

Dune was fine. Don't mind a second season. It had a similar thing with the first part of the movie, in that both had a lot of setup and that makes them seem a lot slower. I don't really know if that's ever a good thing? I think of it at best being tolerable, if there's enough distraction from world building, characterization or say some form of action.
For me the show didn't start rolling until the 3rd episode. The whole episode was standalone:ish, but it still supported earlier and future episodes.Comment
