ok so i got through silo which i guess is nice because season 2 is dropping in like 3 weeks.
actually correct me if im wrong but nov is getting kinda stacked. cant be mad.
silo is hard to love but the fast forward button really saved it and the final scene was pretty fucking hard core. in fairness is got significantly better in like the last 3 eps. i dont have much else to say about it but if apple doesnt release all the eps at once ill probably find a online synopsis on the book its based on rather than let them mete out 10 minutes of compelling footage a week.
so i just read a reddit thread that tried to explain the many, many things that made absolutely no sense and apparently im not an idiot, its just shit writing.
so glad you mentioned foundation.. ive been really marveling at how great lee pace is on that show. its unusual. and honestly the whole story with the discovery and eventual enslavement of lady d was fantastic. as was the corrupted dawn arc.
fucking good show. apparently they wrapped filming on season 3 a few months ago and have slashed the budget significantly, lots of concern that there wont be a season 4 but fingers are real crossed.
First 3 episodes of s2 Arcane are out. Like s1, starts out slow and mostly gets away with it by releasing the show in 3 ep batches. Of the non spoilery things I'd say it looks better visually.
With Silo I'm guessing I'll just get AppleTV as a freebie with the latest iPad Pro, because it's perfectly rational to save $5 by spending $2000.
ep 1 of landsmen shows promise. shits really uneven tho. lots of filler. thornton is rapidly turning into a whole ass actor tho which is frankly great to see. doing quite a bit of fast forwarding through the wife/daughter drama and pretty much any time a country song comes on which solves an awful lot of problems.
