    COVID stocks chat (Vaccines, Treatments, etc).

    I'm still in Moderna. Was in/out early on in the 40's and now have been HODLING since low 60.

    PROS
    -tons of US $ invested
    -one of 2-3 legitimate vaccines at this time
    -US only hope is a vaccine at this point (or new President)

    CONS
    -if vaccine phase 3 trial fails this will fall rapidly
    -insiders sold a lot of stock on the way up. However most of that was planned sales.

    MRNA is so problematic. as a profit maker i mean, people get rich off it. but its all smoke and mirrors. like you mentioned, all the C levels keep cashing out their options like clockwork. is that really something you do if youre on the brink of saving the world?

    honestly i really feel like there is this symbiotic relationship between them and the administration where they just keep making vaporware announcements to prop up the market.

    but christ knows thats not a good reason to not profit off it.

      as something of a health care sector specialist I have personally faded Moderna since its record ipo, and at these current valuations I simply cant justify owning a single share.

        Unless the vaccine is a massive fail Moderna is going to continue to move up. The US is fucked and they need a vaccine and I'm ready to profit off that.

        Krypt I'm not sure how you could fade Moderna and be profitable at this point unless you're talking little scalps.

            Moderna took a dive today. Pfizer had some good results with their test (possibly better than MRNA).
