I've maybe had 10 Uber/Lyft rides in my life and 2 of those caused me to go full Druff on both Uber and Lyft customer service.

Now their former CISO is being charged of sending a shit ton of hush money to cover his ass from a breach.

i have a measure of sympathy for sullivan but honestly once you take that C level gig, the rules change, and he knew it.

if they had just spun it during disclosure as 'bug bounty paid off, information inadvertently disclosed' or whatever it would have been a massive shit show but no one would be going to jail over it.

honestly the fall from grace of uber is a massive head scratcher, kinds are going to study it in school.
