    Alternate history stuff. The only actor i recognize is the guy that ran a radio station in that one show where Andy Dick and Joe Rogan came from.

    Burned myself out from Expanse stuff, Fargo has been lukewarm and Lovecraft Country i stopped watching a few episodes ago. Warrior has been watchable so far.

    i read the book a million years ago and loved it, of course. i watched an ep or two of the series and... maybe expectations got me, maybe i didnt ive it enough time, but i wasnt sucked in.

    also apparently it suffers from that classic 'people constantly suffer the consequences of their own inexplicable stupidity' plot momentum shit which leaves me super cold.

    but whatever youre the 2nd person with good taste to suggest i lean into it so fuck it, its on.

      I would assume it doesn't stand against the book. It was just a show i had missed that i am now running on the side. Fast forwarding is your friend.

      Just a general drought with good tv shows.

        ...19th century stuff with tongs/triads and the Irish. Based on a 7 page synopsis by Bruce Lee he wrote for himself for a show with an Asian lead. They milk the shit out of that for external marketing, but the show is good nonetheless. It's on it's second season.
