alien earth is a strange bird. im smitten despite myself; its stubbornly refusing to be the show i want at the scale i want but so far its succeeding on its own terms. but those terms arent actually so great. good maybe but not great. i think season 2 might be more in-line with my expectations vis a vis 'so what are these synths capable of' and until then i just have to grin and slog through the body horror.

i hope you finish foundation soon, theres a lot i want to discuss. been taking temperature on sosh and people seem to be as disappointed as me.

also apparently lee pace is a maybe/maybe not for season for despite being an executive producer still and tbh thats kind of a huge question mark; whats this show exactly without lee pace? i wonder if they will use the DNA from dawn to reconstitute empire, something like that...
