I find it highly suspicious that a criminal savvy enough to be a DOJ official would demand $25 million. I mean, it's just preposterous. Someone would have to be extraordinarily wealthy to have $25 million liquid that they could convert into some kind of untraceable extortion payment, and it's such a high number that you would have to be blackmailing them over something really heinous. If you eyewitnessed something like OJ doing some murders, maybe you could get like half a million worth of extorted dollars, and you would have to really cover your ass to make sure you held onto them and didn't become a target yourself. But there's a criminal extortion ring out there who thinks they can get $25 million from Matt Gaetz over some fraudulent sexcrim allegations? That would make them an extremely incompetent criminal extortion ring.
