look im not 'into' the whole disney/MCU universe. there are elements of it that i think are well done and i enjoy, a lot tbh. like i really did enjoy the dr strange movie. and i thought wandavision transcended the traditional expectations for the genre in a major way. but you know, captain america... wakaanda... i think that shit is by and large trash. but its weirdly well executed trash.
and when i see shit popping off like 'falcon and the winter soldier' which is going to be 6 episodes over 6 weeks, im actually super here for it.
in 4 weeks or whatever im going to download all six eps and watch a 4.5 hour long movie. it wont be a great movie. but im pretty sure it wont be absolute fucking garbage either. and it will have a ton of runway to explore whatever ideas it wants to without worrying about getting it all to make sense in one 85 minute session.
so yeah short $AMC because this feels like we could actually be on the cusp of a really interesting era of actual storytelling, a la tinker tailor so on.
