Had never heard of this guy before, but I was definitely aware of the fact that both HK and Japan are horse racing hotspots. Obv Dubai, UAE, and Qatar are also heavily invested in thoroughbred breeding operations, but forbid gambling due to Islam. The Saudis just last year entered the fray in a big, big way with the largest single race prize pool of $20M for the winner of the “Saudi Cup”.

Tine I really need to get you into international horse racing, it’s actually starting to be a big hobby of mine lately. Like TVG/Fanduel is offering a $300 risk free bet. I honestly bet for fun, as there really isn’t a better 1-3 minute sweat in all of sports gambling.

Anyway, i’m a fan of horses in general and closely follow most of the prestigious G1 turf races in the UK/France.

The Prix de Arc de Triomphe is considered by many, including me, to be the world’s most prestigious race (lol Kentucky derby peasants)
