To add to this chinese high profile jobs are really really cut throat every failure you or you´r subordinates to reflects immediately badly on you as a leader even the ones you are not responsible for so a lot of those guys if they cant cut it anymore end themselfs, its like japan in the 80´s and 90´s where people would suicide because the didnt get promoted or had to answer for some mistake etc

thats an incredibly sad video. admittedly i my first concern was defenestration but right behind it was 'they wont let me tell the world how much radiation leaked, they wont let me evacuate people in the path of the gas', that kinda vibe.

well he was the vice president of the harbin university which is comparable to stanford university he never was in a supervisor or CTO role at the plant also the nuclear plant is run by the China General Nuclear Power Groupwhich built taishan with the help of framatom a french nuclear general contractor, also framatom runs the plant in conjunction with the chinese, all people involved here have no connection to harbin as far as i can see it

obviously this is totally conjecture but i imagine his was one of the first doors to get knocked on by whatever intelligence service would be trying to deal with the situation 'in house'.

its just a bridge too far for me, that a drudge article on a nuclear incident appears like a few days before the leading nuclear expert in the country takes a header. im absolutely sure everything you said is 100% true but china is china and their first response to a serious incident would be to tap in the big swinging dicks, swear them to absolute secrecy, get their advice, then fucking ignore it.

if i was that guy, being sworn not to discuss thousands if not millions of totally preventable cancer cases, i mean...

but i fully agree that it could be a coincidence or something far less dramatic.

well the leak was leaked by framatom maybe because framatom has to adhere to rules from the IAEA?

but i still dont see the connection to him i mean he has no superviser role at the plant all plans and planning is from framatom if the ccp wanted to make a show out of it they would have offed the CEO of the CGNPG or someone high up in the company to make a point

Also regarding the article or press coverage , the last 5 years i see a lot of articles coming out where all the time it has omnious tones, people dissappering or suicides, and almost always it sounds like "yea the chinese ccp must have made him/her suicide" in a subtle way by being extremely vague, also the first who wrote about this situation was a hongkong based magazine, i blame psyop forces on this because there is a propaganda war between china and the USA
