im generally not in love with taking contrarian positions but im paying for time in case this goes south. and honestly if it doesnt print, it will be because spy tanked and my positions there will more than cover my exposure here.

this was a fucking stupid bet and i hate it but ill likely be able to print a few dollars off it before i bail tomorrow.

i zoomed out to 90 day after taking this position and we are testing SMA on the way down. not a mortal blow but definitely not the long term direction i expect this to move in.

It’s prolly the end of the easy money in stuff like AAPL. We will prolly see tighter ranges.

harder work and smaller cap I ‘spose. That doesn’t mean short unless you are trading scalps like me.

China baby. I posted my love of China long term near the Ackman bottom. I saw this yesterday. This is representative of nearly all commodities including agri like corn.

just put this in the back of your cranium

              sorry Donald

thod i have such weird / conflicted feelings the flattening of the swings. we both know that its not only coming but will be the defining change in market behavior.

on the one hand, ouch, gross.

on the other hand i love the idea of being able to actually swing trade over the course of days, instead of what we have now where the same ranges take place in literal seconds.

i will probably feel differently when it happens but i dont know, my nerves are telling me things about how unsustainable this shit is rn.

Can’t be arsed checking if this is the right thread, but someone posted about using IG index in Uk. It’s many years since I did so, but you have to watch out for them raping you on stop losses, on anything illiquid or prone to flash crash or market manipulation. That said you can make a fortune if you are brave. I am still slightly haunted by closing my then main bets on IG which were Paaladium commodity calls. I traded in at 200 odd and made a few quid. if I had held till the peak I’d have made a million. Hey ho.
