    S2 Raised by Wolves - 2 EPs out, haven't watched yet
    S5 Snowfall

    Likely missing something, but those were the things at first glance.

    Snowfall is the Ozark of the month. Sorta might as well watch it. Not expecting too much.

      ozark was real trash imo. havent tucked into RbW, i _might_ wait for more eps to drop so i can really make a go of it.

      snowfall? weirdly excited about it.

      have you ever had a friend who used to make really great art and then started to kinda lose their magic and they keep inviting you to gallery shows and youre like ehhhhhhhhnnnnnnn? thats how i feel about vikings valhalla. im going to give it a try but i feel like theres a totally reasonable chance i dont make it through the first ep.

        I think i've tried to watch Ozark twice now. Not expecting a whole lot from Vikings. There's a lot artists that had few really great years and then took a hard dive to mediocracy. And i think sometimes it could be some variation of either party moving on or staying still. There are plenty of objectively good things, but there's a sizable subjective component in how any piece of art hits.

        Expecting most from Umbrella Academy that should come out in the next few months. They haven't disappointed me yet and it's not that hard to keep me entertained with a third season. I got the comics and Klaus spinoff maybe 6 months ago. There's a chance I'll actually read them before S3.

        i had a lot of fun with umbrella academy and ill be there for s3 but im also honestly dying to find out how they deal with post TS elliot pages character... like are they literally just going to pivot hard and fast into the alter-universe where that character is a dude? what a wild precedent to set and what an interesting problem to have to solve, least of all because it sure as shit wont be the last time someone has to solve it.

      ok ep 1 of RbW down and like... im here for it but im nervous. i liked the first handful of eps because it was very patient and very deliberate. and now its just kinda all over the place, character wise.

      also one of the best aspects of season 1 was the constant potential for absolutely mind blowing violence and it feels like weve moved beyond that.

        random complaints about that first rbw ep of the season;

        - i genuinely have no idea how much time passed since they flew through the hole in the planet. i guess its been like a year? and the children were essentially kept in a jail that entire time?

        - a lot of shit popped off in the last few eps and a great many things tried to kill them and now they are on the other side of the planet and no one really cares?

        - how the fuck did the kids and travis get to the other side of the fucking planet? and why?
