some interesting takeaways...
- never honestly gave a shit about money (predictable)
- the casinos basically tried to destroy him / ruin his life
- to a large extent they succeeded
- got up into the 40m range and then just donked it all off *and never actually invested in anything*
this ^ is the part i find really interesting. in his own words, he wasnt an investor, he was a gambler. lesson to be taken away from this; have a number. when you get to your number, live off the interest or rent or whatever you choose. gamble with the interest/rent if you have to.
