heard a great detail about the final version of the game. basically 90% of your build's behavior is going to be determined by gear. which is to say; legendary drops have such powerful perks that you will often want to respec to take advantage of a new gear perk. which is something i really, really liked about diablo 3 to be honest.

That's like the only diablo video I watched on the weekend. Makes me feel good about Barb and my initial struggles in early game. But second Beta Barb was so much easier to play. All this in mind I imagine they will be doing tons of rebalancing on an ongoing basis. I wouldn't put too much stock into this especially the end game since it's not clear how well it's been tested.
Its clear necro is the loser by far from this chart. But I'm skeptical its that bad.Comment

So I thought early access was june 2nd. It actually starts in nearly 24 hours... start pre installing 84 gigs. install went super quick done in like 10-15 mins- 7 p.m. EDT on June 1 for the East Coast of North America

im going to be fucking with infinimist /shadow damage in general but i might bail if its not cutting it in early levels and respec to boner.Comment

Bone spear early on likely. Infinimist needs that unique glove to work and even then it's pretty slow. Also something new might pop up. You can obv transition to infinimist from blight/sever builds but they're almost as gear dependent as infinimist. Bone Spear is like most rogue builds in that you need very little to get started and you can farm the rest with the same build.

yeah i got to lvl 20 using bone spear so far and like you pointed out, i just completely forgot how aspect dependent the other interesting builds are.
dealing with work / meetings then im doing some air frier tandoori and then im back on my bone spear bullshit.
btw after the absolutely horrific patch release 48 hours'ish ago, i have to say im enjoying the seasonal release. i am noticing some super weird lag shit going on but hopefully that passes as the user count levels off.Comment

wt3 lvl 52 random poison build i was playing around after release. I wasted few hours trying to do the capstone dungeon at lvl 40. It was fun, but not really what rogues are good for. Early on so far every build does speed farming decently around their own level. Unless you gear for it specifically earliest i'm doing 10+ lvl dungeons is after t4 gear bump at around lvl 62-65.
Necros can do that really early and likely are faster doing 10+ lvl stuff. I guess at 58 you just finish renown, farm some wrath hearts and currently the rest of the game is just nightmare dungeons to 100.
For random reasons i'm trying to make dots work. Missing a few cdr pieces, penitent greaves, few glyphs and too many paragon points. It's neither fast nor efficient, but might have some potential in a world where NM dungeons didn't get nerfed.Comment
