panasonic just peaced out on solar, claiming they can no longer compete with the chinese manufacturers. which is interesting considering people bagged on elon for using chinese components in his solar installs. seem to recall 'fraud' being bandied about quite a bit. but his ongoing refusal to plant a flag in that industry post-buffalogate continues to leave me concerned.

For only the serious Elon Musk is god aficionado——- do dive into Maye Musk.
I was watching television with my wife and a Maybelline Cover Girl ad was on the screen. An older model is doing her thing. I have seen this model many times over the years. Very striking. Wife looks at me and says that is Elon Musk’s mother. I NEVER knew.
She’s 72 but has been a model since she was 15. She didn’t get that gig by virtue of Elon. Degrees ..... a nutritionist and researcher etc etc. She never expected modeling to last so she got an education. She’s never stopped getting gigs to her surprise.
I’ll noodle out pictures on this site some other time.
Her personality and story are unique as you would expect but I am still no closer to solving Elon. She does have the risk taking gene if you delve into her and her father’s past.

the thing about solving elon... he lucked into a pot of gold at X.com then somehow by virtue of sheer aspie willpower branded himself as a scrappy underdog nerdcore wunderkin who made a cool fuckin car which leveled him up x100 and now he can afford to send humanity to mars, or at least try.
its fascinating but its not like he got there on the power of his intellect or charisma. 80% of this was just him yolo'ing his X.com buyout package.Comment
