I enjoyed the first couple of episodes but it seemingly got worse every single week and yeah by the time it was over I was glad I didn’t have to watch any more episodes.

I’m still excited for the Loki series though.

loki series is going to be hall of fucking fame but honestly the more time i have to reflect on F/WS the more i find myself absolutely in awe of how truly shoddy it is. its literally like the 'writers' were instructed to take a dozen or so scenes from their favorite action films, throw them into a hat, now graft them together in ways that absolutely make no sense and have nothing in common with the original contexts to create a 'woke military' theme script.

i will never as long as i live forget the spectacle of 'black falcon america' or whatever his fucking brand is saving the lives of two white NYC cops and the stopped cars on the henry hudson parkway cheering. in 2021. unbelievable.

First episode of Loki was worth watching. I hate waiting a week for a new episode, but it makes sense with how slowly Disney releases anything decent. Had they just released the full season i likely would have bailed tomorrow and check back in after 3 months or so.

In other random stuff our Disney+ has a few decent 80-90 movies that aren't streamed elsewhere. Like from when Michael Douglas was an action star and action movies didn't suck. Mostly thinking Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile. Also fairly sure everything is better with Danny DeVito.

honestly the disney/hulu/showtime package is kinda best in slot right now, huh...

im extremely excited about loki and although i havent watched it yet, my hot take is that its going to be good enough to justify the week cooldown between eps.
