    Bet the Process’s Rufus Peabody is a god. Much to be learned from that man. Harolobob and Jeff Ma together shredding on stage at the MIT Sports Analytics Conference years ago had me stamping my feet in the bleachers.

    I think the kids today have a firmer understanding that every trade has someone on the other side. I mean not great cause the game is subsidized by the government and stonks go up but there is a better awareness than 20 years ago. This is something I was keenly aware of while I daytraded.

    Poker players have some transferable skills. Traders did reasonably well at poker.

    Warren Buffet got his start as a kid at the horse track. He wrote tout sheets too as a young teen if I recall.

    Sonatine would do quite well at sports wagering if he cared to turn his intellect in that direction. The fact that he cares no a wit about sports would be an advantage. I say that without any irony btw.

    it’s all the same game skills

    Its just totally fascinating for me how all of this is playing out...and you are right playing Ahab and Moby dick certainly is going to end in disaster...btw
    the real "moby dick" story is much worse then the book..

    possibly related, time will tell;

    im reading the biography of some guy who got busted for insider trading and he talks about how the first firm he worked at basically went under because one trader was obsessed with being the ahab to steve job's white whale.

    fixating on elon's grift instead of focusing on price action has already put several major funds out of business.

    eventually burry will be proven right and tsla will go to 0 but chances are before that happens, billions and billions of dollars will be chunked off by people who took their short positions too soon.

    Is Step 4 offering Commercial Auto Liability Insurance too? For almost free? Elon is crazy like that though.
    was watching some military docu´s lately and stumbled about this guy Jonathan Idema lately,totally forgotten him over the years but the more you read about him the more he reminds me of elon.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Idema

    The fact someone didn´t just shoot him in afghanistan back then is really mindblowing, i mean like the question why elon wasn´t shot whatever he was/is doing down in mexico all the time.

    you are playing great Zalgo.

    this has the aroma of desperation when read in the context of your posts about accounting. but I’m an admitted TSLA casual.

    its just fascinating, how with all those red flags, accounting issues, and so on this company´s life is just prolonged by the "b...but muh electric car, totally not a cult" argument
