i think theres some weird thing with the gif format where uploading a gif locally only ends up processing the first frame.. ive seen this on other sites, weirdly. i tend to either manually upload gifs and embed them as smilies (obv admin function) or just upload them to imgur and use the gif tags, which is the path of least resistance here. if anyone finds a fix for this ill gladly roll it out. -
