Picked some up today for $70.50, even though everybody is buying Boomer stocks right now

Remember that temporary central bank behavior in 2008 & 2009 ... how we would roll it back once we got our footing? It’s $29t now. Breathtaking. I’ll reward you if you can find ANYTHING where someone - even the most pessimistic predicted such a number. Your most rabid gold bug never went there.

We are NEVER going back. Not then & not now. Politically impossible.

special cranky bonus thought.... I am feeling pent up demand .... there are 2.6 million mortgages still in forebearance, rental eviction hasn’t been a thing for a year, student loan payments haven’t been made for a year too......

    Disneyworld is gonna crush.

There's bit of a difference. MMT is assumed to be neutral when growth stays on par with inflationary pressure. The tax cut mostly contributed to the asset bubble. Deficit spending has a better chance of creating real growth.

Oh, I’m feeling a Great Society domestic spending happening. $4t is a number my peeps repeat.

It’s hard, but never forget the populists on the right and left. This is more political than economic is my feel.

We will find hints like Easter eggs on the White House lawn. The hints will be more brightly colored.

alsooooo.... wether it’s $1.9t deficit spending or a $1.9t Trump tax cut makes little difference in the grander scheme of MMT. I find that adjusts my mindset to the possibilities.
