  • Brother I didn’t have time to write more earlier

    you make some good points brother and they are interesting to read. As I’ve mentioned I am not well versed in stocks and don’t follow along much with Elon Musk drama and his business dealings. I did read a book about him by Ashlee Vance but that’s heavily outdated by now (years old)

    I personally agree with many of your observations about Tesla. I really like how the cars look and as mentioned there are many in my area, but Nicky Pipes would never drive a car that needs to be charged after 250 miles.

    Brother just curious what do you mean by the lashing out at same demographic comment? It would be interesting to read your thoughts on that

      i knew tesla was going to be a juggernaut in 2018 based on 2 things;

      1) the highest net worth person i knew drove one and was buying another for her husband for his birthday.

      2) if you flew a drone over google campus parking lot, it was a literal sea of teslas.

      the people buying them were educated, affluent, coastal, concerned with the environment.

      2 other circles in the venn diagram, smaller but significant;

      1) i had friends who were basically NYC yoga hippies who bought tsla around $180-200 a share. pre-split.

      2) those cars were fucking mind blowingly gorgeous, the interiors were like something out of a sci fi movie.

      and everyone loved them. i never even heard of a tesla owner who didnt fucking love their car.

      i started longing tesla because i thought solar hadnt been priced in. personally, that was the edge i saw.

      and then everything started to get real shitty, real fast. quality control started to plummet, tesla shut down its solar plant in buffalo, and then insult to injury they cancelled their insurance guarantee against defect basically. and its been downhill ever since.

      but the people who basically made tesla a household name? coastal elites, software programmers / engineers, all of whom skewed towards democrat/left concerns re social safety net issues, ecology, so on. high emotional intelligence.

      and for years, elon took their money. they made his car a thing in the popular lexicon and he took their money, as one does, and kept his mouth shut and focused on planting the human genome on mars. again, as one does.

      and then, in july of 2018, elon insisted a cave diver let him fabricate what was essentially an aluminum coffin to transport kids trapped in a cave to freedom. problem was, the coffin was too fucking long, it would never fit around the curves in the cave. the diver told elon to fuck off and let professionals do their job. elon called him a pedophile.

      and since that fucking exchange, elon has morphed from a champion of the ecowarriors to a literal kleptocrat, hes an american oligarch. and because he literally doesnt understand what free speech is, in the legal sense, he does what all the other rubes do who dont understand it; they insist theirs is being criminally suppressed by 'the left'.

      plus trump slashed his tax exposure. and he liked that a lot.

      if he had kept his fucking mouth shut, kept working on solar, kept improving spacex tech, and stayed off the mother fucking stage, i promise you id ride his dick like a jockey to this day, regardless of his personal affinity towards trump.

      also, pet peeve; i cant fucking stand foreigners who decide one day they understand Exactly Whats Wrong With America after making their fortunes here, its galling. and thats so his brand.

      hes going to have his finger on the political scales in this country a bit harder every day until richard spencer and milo yianoppolaus are warming up the crowd for president marjorie taylor greene at press junkets and our public schools are turned into christian madrases.

      fucking book it.

      • Brothers it’s really fascinating when you write your thoughts long form.

        brother I can tell you have a very complicated and analytical mind. We think very similar but very different at the same time. Do you understand?

        I would never think to analyze companies and the market the way you do, but when I read your thought process it makes me say of course, this is clear!

        that’s the sign of an intelligence ( and manipulative) man, they can tell an idea for the first time and once you hear it you completely agree and it’s as if you always had this same thought or idea

        Brother it’s helpful for me to read your analysis. It makes me wish I had more time to spend on this type of venture but right now I don’t.

        brother one thing about Nicky Pipes is he is well aware of what he does not know.

        a man must be able to honestly assess their strengths and weaknesses, do you understand?

                      • very, very, very soon, we are going to look back and remember when musk started openly antagonizing the SEC and DOJ and we are going to laugh for fucking weeks over the ashes of his legacy.

                        like there is an absolutely laundry list of corporate has-beens who have tried to tug on supermans cape and it absolutely positively always goes badly.

                              • This is the byproduct of millenials/genZ thinking their voice is as important as their bosses.

                                However, this is also a result of the mantra thats been told by management that were all a team etc etc and having workers give their life to a company for over a decade.

                                Cant have the cake and eat it to.
